Alert – COVID-19

July 28, 2020

A Message From Kevin Tylus,
President, BMT Banking

For our customers,

Over the last several months, we have taken serious precautions at our branches to keep you and our staff safe and healthy. For some locations, this has included closure or adjustments to routine services, such as limiting facilities to drive-through only or offering specialized appointment hours at select offices. We continue to focus our efforts on ensuring that customers have access for their critical banking needs and keeping everyone’s safety at the forefront of our decisions.  We have created a summary chart of our current availability and, for greater detail, please visit our locations page for addresses, directions and more details on our service schedules.

While on, you may want to explore services such as online banking and mobile banking, which help you take care of your banking needs remotely. These support our ongoing efforts toward keeping our employees and clients safe.

At Bryn Mawr Trust, the wellbeing of our customers, employees and communities is our top priority. We were one of the first banks in our area to send employees home to work in a safe environment when the pandemic gripped our region back in March. Today, we remain cautious as we continue to monitor the situation at hand and evaluate the operations of our branches and offices on an ongoing basis. Our goal is to support our clients and communities while keeping everyone safe.

If you require more immediate assistance, please call our customer service center at 610-525-1700.

Stay safe and well.

A Message from
President & CEO Frank Leto

The outbreak of the Coronavirus, COVID-19, has been a continued news headline with cases now reported throughout the United States, resulting in increased media coverage about the potential of a pandemic outbreak. The health and well-being of our clients, communities, and team members is foremost in our minds as we carefully monitor the COVID-19 outbreak. As a Bryn Mawr Trust client, you should know that BMT is prepared and continues to plan in the event an outbreak should result in a business interruption in any of the communities we serve.

To ensure you receive accurate information directly from BMT, any changes to individual branches, BMT offices or company-wide impacts would be shared on as well as on our social media channels.

BMT Preparedness

BMT has Business Continuity, Pandemic, and Disaster Recovery plans in place that are active and updated as a regular course of our business. In accordance with our internal corporate policies, we conduct regular tests of these plans, including rigorous testing of our networks and operations, ensuring we are prepared. In recent weeks, we have completed additional tests, which included employees from across our organization working remotely without impact on our operations and service to your accounts. This remote capability includes the option to meet virtually via conference calls or our WebEx service.

Our Employees and Facilities

If you have visited a BMT facility, you may have noticed we have hand sanitizers throughout the public areas. Our ATMs are cleaned at least once a day Monday through Saturday, with many receiving a secondary cleaning from our Facilities and Cleaning staffs. Our back-office areas also have access to hand sanitizers to reduce the spread of germs. Our employees receive communications about the importance of frequent handwashing; the importance of not coming to work if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness; avoiding large crowds and physical contact, e.g. handshakes. In addition, our cleaners continue to disinfect our buildings, including door handles and surfaces. These measures are the common-sense steps we should all be practicing to stem passing any contagious germs.

We understand the concerns that uncertainty brings, and we want you to know that we are working each day to ensure we are as prepared as we can be to provide uninterrupted support to you. Please contact Bryn Mawr Trust’s general Customer Care Center at 610.525.1700, or reach out to your Relationship Manager if you have specific questions or issues.

We thank you for trusting BMT with your banking, wealth management, and insurance needs.
