Bryn Mawr, Pa., April 5, 2016 – Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation (NASDAQ: Bryn Mawr TrustC) (the “Corporation”), parent of The Bryn Mawr Trust Company (“Bryn Mawr Trust”), has announced the appointment of David Y. Wong, CIA, CISA, CFE, as Senior Vice President and Director of Internal Audit for Bryn Mawr Trust, effective April 4, 2016. Mr. Wong will be based at Bryn Mawr Trust’s headquarters in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and will report directly to our President and CEO, Frank Leto, as well as our Board of Directors.

His breadth and depth of experience will be invaluable as we continue to maintain, test and ensure the highest level of critical controls throughout our organization.”
Mr. Wong joined Bryn Mawr Trust from Lakeland Bank in Northwestern New Jersey, where he was Senior Vice President and Chief Audit Officer. Prior to that, he spent more than four years as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Hope International, a network of banking institutions providing loan and savings services in 17 countries.
Mr. Wong holds several professional certifications, including Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from the Information Systems and Controls Association and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Mr. Wong earned an MBA in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his B.S. in Management and Communication from Adelphi University.
