FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION
Bryn Mawr, Pa., March 16 , 2018 – Bryn Mawr Trust (“BMT”), announced today that they have added a Health Savings Account (“HSA”) solution to their suite of deposit accounts. HSAs, available to customers enrolled in high-deductible health plans, can be funded with pre-tax dollars and used to pay for qualified healthcare expenses. This helps BMT customers plan for expected and unexpected medical bills. The HSA is available immediately throughout the BMT network.
“Our goal is to evolve and grow with our customers’ needs,” said BMT President Kevin Tylus. “We are seeing growing demand for the HSA in the marketplace and support from legislators shows no sign of wavering. There’s a strong business case for adding it, especially when we consider the natural synergies it creates for many of our lines of business, including insurance, commercial, and small business banking.”
BMT offers HSA accounts for individuals and families. The BMT HSA is a tiered interest-bearing checking account that comes with an account-specific BMT Visa® Debit Card and online banking access. Full product details and restrictions can be obtained by calling 610.525.1700 or by visiting any BMT branch. Annual HSA contribution limits and qualified healthcare expenses are determined by the IRS.
