Branch Service Manager

The Branch Service Manager is responsible for managing branch activities including building client relationship, sales, exceptional service, office operations, workflow, staff management and general administration.  Service Managers will spend 85% of their time within the branch servicing new and existing clients to deepen relationships.

This position will be based in Delaware, Chester & Montgomery Counties.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates internal sales and service activities to develop and expand existing client relationships
  • Achieves collective team goals for sales, referrals, service, and operational assignments
  • Supervises and develops staff. Performs annual performance reviews of all staff members and encourages ongoing development by offering regular performance feedback and coaching
  • Supports Cash Management, Small Business Bankers, and Business Development Officer on targeted business development activities with new prospective clients and existing clients
  • Cross sells consumer loans, managing client interaction from application through loan closing
  • Accountable for day-to-day operational activities in compliance with policy and procedure
  • Provides leadership and coaching in the sales and delivery of all products and services
  • Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by managing within the budget for income and expense
  • Performs all Universal Banking duties as necessary
  • Participates in community, civic and trade organizations, and activities
  • Ensures knowledge and compliance with banking regulations as well as Bank, Security and Audit policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required; Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Three to five years banking, sales and customer service experience
  • Must have supervisory experience
  • Computer skills and proficiency with technology and software, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, IPad, mobile
  • Communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
  • Critical thinking mentality by using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
