Bryn Mawr, Pa., September 8, 2016 – Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation (NASDAQ: Bryn Mawr TrustC) (the Corporation), parent of The Bryn Mawr Trust Company (Bryn Mawr Trust), announced today that Powers Craft Parker & Beard, Inc. (Powers Craft), a subsidiary of Bryn Mawr Trust, has added depth to its insurance services with the addition of Dennis LeVasseur as Senior Vice President and Commercial Insurance Sales Manager. Mr. LeVasseur joined Powers Craft on September 1.
“Dennis LeVasseur has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and is skilled at providing middle market clients with consulting, risk management, and loss control solutions for their business operation exposures,” said Ned Lee, head of operations at Powers Craft.
Mr. Lee continued, “Dennis will apply his background as a commercial property/casualty and employee benefits broker to work with and manage our commercial lines producers and account managers to drive new business growth. We are delighted to welcome him to Powers Craft.”
Mr. LeVasseur joins Powers Craft from Univest Insurance in Lansdale, Pa., where he was a senior vice president and commercial lines sales manager. Before that, he was a vice president and sales executive at Hub International.
Mr. LeVasseur holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS®) designation. He is a graduate of Shippensburg University, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing.
