Bryn Mawr, Pa., April 18, 2016 – Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation (NASDAQ: Bryn Mawr TrustC) (the “Corporation”), parent of The Bryn Mawr Trust Company (“Bryn Mawr Trust”), has appointed Douglas L. Whalen, as Vice President in Small Business Administration (“SBA”) Lending. Mr. Whalen joined Bryn Mawr Trust on April 11th, 2016.
“Doug is a talented financial professional”, said Joseph Keefer, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. “With nearly a decade of banking experience and relationship management, he will provide an additional dimension in Bryn Mawr Trust’s Commercial group, focusing on helping small business owners obtain financing solutions. We are thrilled to combine Bryn Mawr Trust’s Preferred SBA Lender status and Doug’s background.”
Prior to joining Bryn Mawr Trust, Whalen served as the Vice President of Relationship Management at Citizens Bank. In the years prior, he was a Vice President and commercial lender with Wells Fargo Bank.
Whalen, earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Villanova School of Law, and holds his under-graduate degree, a B.S. in Business Administration, from the University of Delaware. He currently resides in Romansville, Pa.
