Nick Idrovo Builds His Future in Wealth Management as a Bryn Mawr Trust Intern

Internships play a key role in a young professional’s journey, and for Nick Idrovo, interning at Bryn Mawr Trust (BMT) is helping him move closer toward his long-term goals. Entering the summer eager to learn and grow, he will return to Wake Forest University for his junior year with new skills and a deeper understanding of the finance industry.

Hoping to pursue a career in finance, Idrovo said his wealth management internship offers valuable exposure to multiple areas of the field.

Day-to-day, he focuses on beneficiary checks and reviewing client’s assets, learning how to advise on equity allocation. He explained that his experience has helped him identify what interests him most.

As he explores different areas of wealth management, Idrovo has discovered a passion for client-facing roles.

“I love educating and making an impact on people’s lives,” he said after meeting with clients face-to-face. “The exposure feels invaluable, and I’m gaining confidence in my ability to contribute meaningfully.”

In addition to his daily tasks, Idrovo fostered relationships with fellow interns and managers.

“The Wealth Management team really wants you to succeed,” said Idrovo. “The internship program is incredibly interactive. They create opportunities for me to learn while encouraging me to contribute to impactful projects. I am making connections for life.”

Idrovo’s manager, David Stork, Senior Vice President and Wealth Director, praised his contributions, noting that “Nick has been a great fit for our team. He is eager to learn the business and has been a great help in administrative and investment-oriented projects.”

Idrovo’s experience with BMT has strengthened his interest in an interpersonal career while supporting and encouraging his professional growth.

“I feel better prepared for what’s ahead,” he reflected. “This experience gave me the skills to take the next step in my early career.”
